Judge orders woman to divorce her husband...one of them, anyway
In one Bad Axe [the name of the town] decision, a Judge has ordered a woman to divorce one of her two husbands. She married her second husband without getting divorced from the first...which is illegal in the Michigan [and in North Carolina] and is called polygamy, bigamy, or polyandry.

My wife told me to go fly a kite...
FLYING A KITE
A guy is outside in his front yard attempting to fly a kite with his son. Every time the kite gets up in the air, it comes crashing down. After this goes on for a while, his wife sticks her head out the front door and yells, "You need more tail."
The guy turns to his son and says, "Son, I never will understand women. I just told her an hour ago I needed more tail, and she told me to go fly a kite!"

New wage earner trends could make alimony change
As news about the changing faces of primary wage-earners in families begins to circulate, there comes a few articles about whether the alimony statutes are gender-neutral and whether the application of those statutes is gender-neutral as well
Japan and the U.S. at odds about the Hague Convention on child abduction
"Washington and other governments have long criticized Japan for not signing the Hague Convention on child abduction, urging Tokyo to relieve the plight of foreign nationals who are denied contact with their children by their Japanese former spouses."
"The issue is complicated by the fact that Japanese courts generally avoid involvement in family issues and do not enforce custody agreements even in divorces between Japanese nationals. It is not unusual in Japan for one parent, often the father, to lose all contact with their offspring after a divorce."

One house, no one wants it
What do you do if the two of you want a divorce, but neither wants the house? There are many options, but some are much more pleasant than others.
And God said...
And God said: 'Let there be Satan, so people don't blame everything on me. And let there be lawyers, so people don't blame everything on Satan.' George Burns

John Edwards, Rielle Hunter and their child
John Edwards' friends and family had to overlook a LOT of red flags to have somehow missed one quite so blatant as another child and girlfriend. It seems unbelievable that no one but Andrew Young and his wife had any clue what was occuring with John Edwards and Rielle Hunter.
It is a true shame that Mr. Edwards did not take care of his marital problems before destroying his family. Not to mention that so many people wasted a lot of time, energy, effort and trust in a political candidate who was lying right to their faces and spending an inordinate amount of time trying to hide his 2nd life.
